Terms & Conditions
Of Booking
Before making your booking we respectfully request that you read our terms and conditions. Terms & Conditions are in place to protect you and the hotel from any misunderstandings or shortfalls. No allowance will be made for failure to read these terms and conditions.
For group bookings we refer to our group-terms and conditions
All accommodation is offered subject to availability at the time of receipt of deposit. Deposits are strictly not refundable.
Meal times are pre-arranged and no allowance is made for meals booked and not taken or for the occasional absence from meals.
The Hotel reserves the right to alter the times of meals and other events without prior notice.
Whilst we make every effort to fulfill, we unfortunately cannot guarantee requests and our failure to do so does not constitute A breach of contract. In the unlikely event that we have to cancel
Or change your reservation; we reserve the right to do so. If this situation does arise you will receive the option of alternative arrangements or a full refund.
On day of arrival rooms are available from 3pm (times may vary for special packages).
It is important to notify the hotel of your approximate arrival time. Please complete this section on your booking form for this purpose. If no notification is received by the Hotel then the accommodation may be re-let after 5pm on that date.
On day of departure rooms must be vacated by 10.00am or an extra days' charge will be applied.
The Hotel accepts no responsibility for guests' property or valuables unless deposited for safe keeping in the Hotel safe.
Accounts must be settled upon Arrival. Please note that we do not accept personal or business account cheques for balance payments. Building Society Cheques or Bankers Drafts may be accepted at reception without prior notice. Payment may also be made in cash, credit or debit card (we do not accept American Express)
Payments for group bookings of 15 people or over are required minimum of 6 weeks prior to arrival.
In the event of any cancellation or curtailment or failure to arrive: If cancellation or curtailment occurs prior to 14 days before the arrival date and we have been unable to re-let the accommodation the person who made the booking will be liable to pay the full amount less allowance for food, charged at the standard meal tariff, not consumed. If a cancellation is made less than 14 days prior to arrival the person who made the booking will be liable to pay the full amount less allowance for food not consumed. In the case of cancellation or curtailment deposits may be used to cover any costs incurred by the hotel for re-advertisement of accommodation and/or pursuit of any monies owed and is deductible only from the final invoice prior to allowances being subtracted. Cancellation must be confirmed in writing.
Holiday insurance is strongly recommended to all guests. This should include cover, for your benefit,
Of cancellation, curtailment and no show, plus for your peace of mind, theft, loss and damage of possessions
The management reserves the right to curtail any contract should the conduct of any person who is party to the contract cause detriment to the well being and comfort of other guests or staff.
Guests or visitors who cause damage to Hotel property will be liable for full replacement and labour costs. This includes damage such as, but not limited to, wet beds, broken light fittings and stained bed or bathroom linen.
