Exactly what we were looking for, great bar with a pool table too. CCTV in the hall (good for discovering a member of your group had crept of to the toilet in the early hours after a couple of shandys). All in all, friendly owners, great breakfast and I would highly recommend it and would stay there again. They made us feel like we had known them all our lives. The hotel was spotless. The new bar was wicked with the pooltable and disco lights(you think your still clubin.) The bar area was clean and newly decorated. Good variety of music. Our room was quite small but very clean with comfortable beds. No ensuites but plenty of shower rooms and toilets and again spotless. Cameras in hallways to deter unwelcome visitors. Great breakfast. Would use again.
